Weekend in the Doghouse: Brewster Ice Arena (May 23-24)

In its inaugural foray into spring hockey, the Jr Bears took the top honors in the Brewster Ice Arena Weekend in the Doghouse (Peewee 2A Division). Led by Coach Dan Driscoll and comprised of regular season members of the Connecticut Lazers, Salisbury Red Hawks and Berkshire Rattlers, the team came together quickly. In winning the championship, the Bears racked up 3 wins in 4 games, facing the Long Island Jr Islanders, the Connecticut Jr Islanders and the Brewster Bulldogs.

Jr Bears Inaugural Spring Season (2009)

The Jr Bears Hockey Club enables youth hockey players from the Berkshire, Mass area to extend their season through the spring and summer. The Jr Bears are operating a peewee/bantam age team (for 1996 and 1997 birth year players) which will participate in 2 or 3 spring tournaments during the spring of 2009.
